I love chocolate, my family loves chocolate and even though it's really warm there's no reason not to keep eating it. I have been dabbling in the kitchen again and have a great chocolate dip recipe to share, very easy to make, low in sugar, eaten with fruit and pretzels keeps the calories down too. I've tried to think how everyone can enjoy it
5 oz/140g dark chocolate, chopped
4 fluid oz double cream
Sliced fruit for dipping
Pretzels or crispy cookies for dipping
Place the chocolate and cream in a glass bowl and place on top of a small saucepan containing simmering water, don't allow the water to touch the bottom of the bowl, and melt over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour into a serving dish, ramakin or similar and serve with a colorful platter of sliced fruit, cookies, pretzels or whatever else you’d like for dipping.
